Hey Bee's its been a busy few days that's for sure I'm sorry for not posting this past few days, today's blog post is a feature by diamond design uniforms www.diamonddesignuniforms.com "The Top 5 Tips To Fake Tan" tanning can be quite a challenge diamond design uniforms have come up with 5 tips to make tanning that little bit easier so let's check out their top tips.

With summer in full swing, we are all lusting over achieving the perfect sun-kissed skin. Unfortunately for many of us with no summer trips away booked, we are left with the temperamental Irish weather. With wet, grey and cold afternoons still set in our weather forecast, we are all starting to question when our milk bottle legs can finally see a peak of sunshine.
Well, behold the magic of fake tan! Providing us with a holiday in a bottle, fake tan has always been a go-to product for those of us with no holiday in sight or porcelain skin. Providing a natural glow on skin, fake tan is a great way of enhancing your skin's glow, yet avoiding the effects of harmful UV rays.

However, applying fake tan isn't the easy of applications, with many of us suffering a fake tan fail the next day. Not all of us can afford to head to our local beauty salon for a spray tan every week! It's always a wonder of mine how beauticians never drip any product onto their beauty tunics, or have a streaky look on skin.
Therefore, to help give you a beauty salon spray tan at home, we have gathered together 5 top tips to help you achieve a part glow for this summer:

Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate

One of the most important processes before applying fake tan is prepping the skin. Exfoliating helps to remove any dry, dead skin cells which fake tan can usually stick to. Before applying fake tan, exfoliate your body using either exfoliating gloves or a tough scrub to help remove any dead skin for an even glow.

 Moisturise
For those who fake tan regularly, we are well aware of how important moisturising is. Not only does it help to maintain your tan, it's great for prepping the skin before applying your tan. After stepping out the shower and drying, apply moisturiser, focusing especially on your hands, knees and feet.

Use A Mitt
I can not stress how important using gloves or a mitt is. So many times I have seen and heard of horror stories regarding florescent orange palms. Investing in gloves and a mitt can also provide an even coverage on skin.

Use Vaseline On Eyebrows and Hairline
Helping to avoid any dodgy tide marks, applying a small dab of Vaseline on the hairline and eyebrows allows you to apply fake tan evenly across the face without worrying about slipping and touching those perfect brows !

Make Sure All Hair Removal Is Done The Day Before
If you are heading on holiday or simply wanting sun-kissed pins for the upcoming weekend, ensure that all hair removal has been carried out at least 24 hours before you apply fake tan. Shaving or waxing before tanning can expose new sensitive skin cells that can be irritated, and can also cause a 'spotty' looking tan.

So now you are all ready to be sun-kissed through the Irish summer. Wave good bye to harmful UV rays and say hello to perfectly smooth glowing skin.

I hope you all enjoyed this little post sharing all the tips and tricks on tanning, make sure to check out www.diamonddesignuniforms.com , I will be back with a post very soon.

Until Next Time Bee's
