Homemade sugar hand scrub

Lately due to work my hands have become very dry and I have been trying out different things to help moisture my hands and make them feel soft and healthier again which lead to me stumbling across a recipe on how to make a homemade hand scrub so I decided I would share with you guys my little step by step of this hand scrub.

What you will need ...

- A Jar

- 2/3 of sugar(any kind will do)

- 1/4 cup of olive oil(you can use coconut oil as    an alternative)

- 1 lemon

What do to.....

(1) Add 2/3 of sugar to a jar or container any kind of sugar that you have in the Kitchen will do.

(2) Mix 1/4 of olive oil if you don't have olive oil you can use coconut oil as an alternative. When adding in the oil to the sugar add it in slowly as you don't want the mixture to be too wet. You want the mixture feel rough like sand.

(3) squeeze the juice from a fresh lemon and add about 1 tablespoon of the lemon juice into the mixture.

Once you have all the ingredients mixed together it should be creamy and not too dry. To achieve the prefect consistency mess around by adding in more sugar or oil until the mixture looks like a thick hand cream.

The homemade hand scrub left my hands feeling so much softer, healthier and revitalised. I love the fresh lingering scent of the lemon and the texture of the mixture. I would recommend that you guys try this out there is no cost and it really does make your hands feel so much softer.

Mac Haul !!!!

MAC HAUL !!!

Yes I said it bees !! A MAC HAUL !! I'm so excited to show you my lovelies thee beautiful lipsticks that I ordered online the other day from brown Thomas ... Fancyyyyy !! Note that I'm in a rather excitable mood I don't know if you can tell but yes ,now I'll try and keep it professional.

I really can't buy one lipstick with out buying another so I picked up 3 beautiful shades which are ...

- shy girl

- Dark side

- Rihanna viva glam

Shy girl

Shy girl is a neutral coral beige which is prefect for wearing as a day look or night look. If you created a really dramatic smokey eye it will really complete the look and make your make up softer looking. This cremesheen lipstick is long lasting ,moisturising and not to mention it compliments any skin tone. What I really like about it is the little shimmer it has when your apply it to your lips you also don't need a liner you can apply it really quickly and run out the door there is no fuss. Rate - 9/10

Dark side

I love this shade it's more of a dark burgundy and is highly pigmented which is great because there is nothing disappointing than buying a lipstick and it just doesn't give the pigmentation it's supposed to do. This long lasting lipstick can be dry on your lips but it's nothing a little gloss before hand and liner won't fix. Over time and after it wears off it leaves a beautiful berry stain. This lipstick is prefect for a subtle smokey eye for a night out. Rate - 8/10

Viva glam

This shade is a neutral red witch is a blue based red with some gold under tones to give that glam feel. It's a bright and pigmented shade but it smears quiet easily which is a slight turn off for some people. For this lipstick I really recommend that you buy a liner that matches well as it brings out the intensity of the colour but on the upside the lipstick glides on easily and doesn't dry out your lips. It's really long lasting. It wouldn't be my favourite lipstick from mac just due to the fact it smears easily.

Rate - 6/10

I ordered all of these lipsticks online from brown Thomas I'll but the link down below and you can also purchase them online at Mac. They were all in the €20 price range. I hope you enjoyed this blog review. http://www.brownthomas.com
