Smash box legendary long wear lip lacquer

Smashbox legendary long wear lip lacquer is the first of smash box's range that I have ever purchased I have been eyeing up a few of there long wear lip lacquer for sometime now they have a wide range of colours from bright to subtle and light to dark. I picked up the shade beet it the colour is supposed to be a "vibrant violet"but it really doesn't reflect the colour story too great. The colour seems to be more of a bright fuchsia plum than a deep purple I was slightly disappointed by this as I love dark shades but this shade is pretty though but it's just not what I expected it to be.

But on the upside I love how it feels on my lips it leaves them feeling soft and smooth. "All day long vibrant pigment " the lacquer is supposed to last through out the day but it after an hour or two it fades away.Overall I was slightly disappointed by it It doesn't match the products description but I will praise on how well it looks and feels. I did experiment a bit with it by adding a lipstick as a base and then applying the lacquer it did last for sometime and it kept my lipstick in place.
