This blog post is well and truly overdue, I was a bit under the weather last week, but I’m back and ready to get blogging! A few weeks ago, my sister kindly bought me the Lush Tea Tree Toner, I was rather eager to try it out and put it to the test. Well, I certainly was impressed with this toner as it contains natural ingredients such as tea tree oil, juniper berry and grapefruit water the toner acts as a shield and fights off any bacteria on the skin which helps reduce breakouts. I myself wouldn’t be overly prone to breakouts, but I did find this toner did wonders for my skin, it looked so much even and hydrated with a slight glow. I found the toner brought out and reduced any blemishes that were present on the skin. I do, 100% think this product is more suited for oily skin as I have dry skin and wouldn’t be prone to breakouts. As the toner contains tea tree oil it removes any traces of dead skin that remains on the skin's surface and its reliefs any irritation and redness. The toner also doesn’t contain alcohol whereas most toners include alcohol in their ingredients which are harsher on the skin. The juniper berry reduces the appearances of blemishes and leaves you with a clear complexion and did I tell you the grapefruit water has anti ageing properties which fight off free radicals, leaving you with an even skin tone, pretty amazing how all these ingredients work together. When applying the toner you can apply it directly to the face by spritzing it across your face 7-8 times or alternatively, you can apply it directly to a cotton pad and wipe it in circular motions across the face. I really do like the scent of this toner you can really pick up on the scent of the tea tree oil, which is somewhat refreshing, oh, did I tell you that you can even apply it over your makeup to keep your skin hydrated and refreshed throughout the day just gently spritz the toner across the skin. Another great thing is that the product is vegan and cruelty-free!
