Mistakes we make and shouldn't make when applying foundation.
we all have our own ways of applying foundation but we don't realise that we are making some vital mistakes when applying our foundation our foundation is the base of our make up look it enhances your complexion and gives you a natural looking finish. I've done a bit of research on the mistakes we make and I've created a list and some of them may relate to you and some may not. (1) Using Your fingers Some of us make think that using our fingers is a quick and alternative method but it leaves harsh lines on our skin and you won't have a smooth canvas to build your make up on so I suggest that you invest in buying a beauty blender or a good foundation brush. (2)Applying Foundation Under Eyes And Around Mouth when we apply foundation in these areas we don't know that we are actually highlighting them and any fine lines/wrinkles become visible so the key is to apply only a small amount to these areas. (3)Test the colour Believe it or not it's a common thing for us to just automatically test the foundation out on our hand it's a no no instead apply it to your jaw line for the perfect match. (4) Skipping Primer Primer is a vital part when applying your foundation when you don't apply primer your foundation may become a orange colour through out the day and the reason why is because there is too much oil on your skin and primer balances this out and acts like a barrier. It leaves a smooth and flawless base. (5)Applying Concealer Under Foundation This is a huge no no if you do this your concealer becomes thinned out and troubled spots become visible. (6) Applying Foundation All Over Your Face Okay we all think that it's completely necessary to cover our entire face in foundation but I'm afraid to tell you it's not the less foundation you use the more natural looking your make up appears the main areas that you need to focus on when applying foundation is an redness around nose, darkness around eyes and any blemishes. There you have it 6 mistakes we make when applying foundation I hope you found this post useful. keep and eye out for the Christmas give away I will be posting a blog post all about it tomorrow night.
