A few weeks back I was in Dublin attending the Irish Beauty Show in the RDS and I had time to go around a few of the shops in the city centre. I made a quick stop at mac and I picked up a few bits and pieces that I've been eyeing up and wanting to add to my never-ending makeup collection so let's have a peek and see what I got!!!! First up we have this gorgeous highlighter my Mac in the shade double-gleam, which is one of their most popular shades from their extra dimension skin-finish collection. This lovely highlighter is designed to suit every skin tone and it is definitely perfect for those of us who have pale complexions. The pigmentation of the highlighter is exceptional and once the highlighter is applied the light hits it instantly creating an ultimate shine and sparkle. €31.50 https://goo.gl/HqJpkB I also picked up two of mac's lipsticks. I'm a huge fan of mac's lipsticks and my collection is fairly starting to grow now, the first shade I picked up was Stone which I know is one of mac's very popular shades although it is quite an unusual shade it has a 90's vibe about it. The deep grey brownish colour of this shade instantly caught my eye and I would really think it's a lipstick that would need a subtle eye makeup look to pull off the bold pigment. €20.00 https://goo.gl/wn1C3Z The next shade I picked up was non other than heroine! This is also one of mac's popular shades, the colour instantly caught my eye. I tend to always stick with neutral shades and dark shades so when the sales assistant picked this up and showed it to me, I was quite intrigued the vibrant purple shade that caught my eye it's a subtle and risqué look I am willing to (hopefully) pull off. It is the perfect shade now due to coming into spring and summer so I'll be reaching for this quite a bit over the next while. €20.00 https://goo.gl/BfHEhZ I've been wanting try out a mac foundation for some while now and I wanted to pick up one that would suit my sister as well as she's quite pale and looks like a ghost quite often. The sale's assistant recommend that we try out the Studio Sculpt Foundation if we wanted a nice natural dewy glow. I decided to get it and try it out in the shade NC20 which is still slightly dark for my sister so she would probably need to go down a shade. To be honest I thought the foundation was really sticky and a little bit hard to blend out but may I add a little goes along way and I was really, really impressed by the coverage. €36.50 https://goo.gl/oq6LVn Once you spend over €80 you get a gift, I received the tendertalk lip balm in the shade candy wrapper OMG the outer packaging of this is adorable!!! It has a holographic case and it instantly catches the light the lip balm itself changes colour based on your body chemistry, pretty cool right? The sales assistant was so friendly and she even put my items in a gift box from Mac and added in a couple of samples of their Prep and Prime Primer and Mascara I can't wait to try those out. I really hoped you enjoyed this little review and I hope to have a more detailed post about the Irish Beauty Show up this weekend.
Until Next Time Queen Bee.
