 Charlotte Tilbury is one of the most sought-after makeup brands on the market and I’ve been eyeing up their products for some time now last month I was in Dublin and I spotted the Charlotte Tilbury stand In Arnotts I was quite eager to test out the magic foundation but I was unsure which shade would suit me best my sister convinced me to get shade matched so I did I was surprised how well the shade number two from the range blended in so well with my skin tone so I had to purchase it! I’ve been testing the foundation out now for a month and I must say I really like it, the foundation itself is quite thick and creamy in texture as its more of a heavy coverage foundation from the range. Application, I felt it applied easily and was rather bendable its a buildable foundation so I would say if you would have redness in your cheeks then I would build up the coverage to ensure the redness is covered or use a colour corrector underneath, my skin is rather dry and I thought this foundation may stick to any dry areas but once I set my skin well before I applied the foundation it applied smoothly on my skin I did notice though throughout the day the foundation would wear off particularly around my nose and mouth i think that's to be expected in those areas.  The packaging I liked I really liked the rose gold cap but the only thing that would frustrate me, well maybe it was just my bottle was I would remove the lid and the pump would also come off when I dispersed the product I would just pour it out on the back of my hand.  Overall I was rather impressed once applied it didn’t feel like I had anything on my skin I also found it photographed beautifully, was it worth splashing the cash? Yes, for sure if you want a High-end natural looking foundation go for it! The foundation seems to be a hit or a miss with some people if you are a bit unsure then I suggest picking up a little sample to test it out. Living up to expectations is not something that just anyone can do. If you have a lot of expectations riding on your back, then life must be really hard for you. I do not really know the feeling, well, mostly because of my lack of ability, however, I do know some that do. They are really interesting people, however, they are also just people.
