This weekend I headed to Dublin for the Harry styles concert that took place on Monday night in the 3Arena, whilst I was in Dublin I stayed at "the Spencer hotel" thankfully it’s only located 15 minutes away from the 3Arena. Since my sister was late meeting me at Busaras my friend Rosie was in town so lucky enough she came to meet me, and we headed to the hotel. I must say the check in process (3 o’clock onwards) was rather quick which was great compared to hotels I’ve previously stayed in. Over all I was really impressed with the room, I booked the superior room which was very stylish, modern and equipped with all the essentials it had a Queen-sized bed, blackout curtains, air conditioning, a bath and a power shower. Oh, there was a kettle too so if you are following me for a while you may remember Aimée and I nearly freaking out not having a kettle in our room in New York Aimée and I can’t survive without tea! The hotel itself contained all amenities such as a restaurant, cocktail bar, gym and spa. Once aimee and her beau arrived we all went to get something to eat at Rockets which is located right across from the hotel along the River Liffey. I must say the hotel in such a great location if you are traveling by bus via Bus Eireann etc. you can hop straight on the Luas which is located right outside Busaras, the Luas operates every 10 minutes and you can get it to Mayor square which drops you off right beside hotel so you only have to walk a short distance. I had booked the hotel through http://booking.com I have a referral code which means anyone who used my referral code receives €15 off you're booking. I have inserted the code here: www.booking.com/s/12_6/333467d5 Spencer hotel website: www.thespencerhotel.com Later that evening we all decided we would check out the movie “Blockers” at the Savoy which is located on O’Connell street. Oh, and by the way I got asked what age I was for a rated 16 movie I suppose that’s one of the things I must put up with for looking young!! Everyone is quite happily teasing me about it. I must say the movie was quite entertaining you will laugh you have to check it out! www.imccinemas.ie/Whats-On/Savoy-Dublin On Monday morning my sister had to go to college in Maynooth, so I decided to go with her and check out the campus as I hadn’t been down there yet, it was my first time on a train too and the train journey was SOOO boring! I liked the Maynooth Campus, but it was just a bit busy for my liking! Once we got back to Dublin later that evening myself and my sister decided we would get room service as we were in Maynooth earlier that morning and hadn’t time to stop off to eat as we had to Rush back and get ready for the concert. At 5.30pm we decided to head down to the 3 arena the queue for the concert was insane there was so many people!! The doors opened around 6.45pm or so once we got inside the arena we decided that we would stay at the back of the crowd at the barrier where they have the sound and production team as we had a good view of the main stage and there is no hope and hell you would get up near the front of the stage as there is some hard core dedicated fans, people travelled from all over to attending the concert New York, Venice , Switzerland and Spain. My sister and I decided we would get a couple of drinks at the concert so I kept our spot and my sister went off to get the drinks but the staff weren’t that pleasant with her and argued with her that it was her in her Garda ID picture she ended up getting one drink as they wouldn't allow her another the drink, it was 6.50 personally I think that’s an absolute rip off! The concert didn’t kick off until 8 Mabel performed first and then at 9.00pm the main man himself Mr. Harry Styles came on stage he opened the concert with his song “Only Angel” which is a track off his album in total he performed 17 songs you check out the set list here www.setlist.fm/setlist/harry-styles/2018/3arena-dublin-ireland-63ecea0b.html I will for sure attend another one of his concerts as he entertained the crowd well and he came across very nice and down to earth as he shared stories with the audience. He even stopped during one of his performances because he thought a fan was hurt and was trying to get out of the front of the barrier, but it turns out she was only waving at him! Oh, and harry also mentioned how he went to Tallaght for the first time and got head butted. Until Next Time Bee's,
Queen Bee
