A few weeks back Amphora Aromatics kindly sent me out a shampoo bar from the newly launched range of shampoo bars! For those of you who aren't familiar with Amphora Aromatics, they are one of the Uk’s biggest suppliers of pure essential oils and aromatherapy. I was rather excited to try out the shampoo bar as it was something different since I normally tend to review makeup here at Queen Bee rather than hair products, let’s see what I thought.
The brand new range has 8 shampoo bars to select from and there is one to suit every hair type such as twilight, zing fresh, lifestyle, intense coconut, brilliant balancing, illuminate blonde, almond and botanical.
I selected the lifestyle shampoo bar since it contains lavender (which I am utterly obsessed with), rosemary and chamomile. The lifestyle shampoo bar is designed for those who have an itchy, dry or flaky scalp like me. The lavender, rosemary and chamomile work together to restore and replenish your hair. I also heard that there may be a hint of coconut oil in this product which works wonders for your hair! Oh my gosh guys the scent from the shampoo bar is unreal, that's if you absolutely love the scent of lavender like ME.
Solid shampoo bars are so handy to have and brilliant if you are travelling as you can bring them anywhere with you and you can get multiple uses out of your shampoo bar by splitting it. When washing your hair all you need to do is simply place the shampoo bar in between your hands, allow it to lather up and gently massage it into your hair, if you use the lavender one like I did its recommended to massage it into your scalp and leave it for a few minutes before you begin to wash it out, once washed out you can condition your hair if it is necessary. You will notice a difference in your hair as soon as you use it. The ingredients are all natural and paraben free so your hair will definitely be left shiny with a natural bounce.
Overall I was really impressed with the product, I would love to try out more products that they have available at Amphora Aromatics, they stock a vast range of products which can be clearly seen on their website http://www.amphora-retail.com/index.php make sure to check them out!!
Until Next Time Bee's,
