Hey Bee's some of you have been voting on my poll that I did on Twitter asking you what should be my next blog post be and you all voted for it to be about beauty hacks so I thought I would share with you some of the beauty hacks that I've picked up along the way or what i have seen people do so I'm going to get straight into it.
(1)By filling in your eyebrows it opens up your eyes and makes them appear much bigger so if you don't feel like applying eyeshadow just fill in your brows and Pop on some mascara and your good to go. (2)If you mess up your eyeliner don't worry we've all been there so a good solution to clean it up is by using a cotton bud/swab apply concealer on the tip of it to clean up any mistakes. (3)Puffy eye's to reduce puffiness place your eye cream in the fridge the cold will be soothing and help reduce inflammation. (4)Always test foundation on your neck not your arm or hand as the neck gives you a clear indication of how close it is to your skin colour. (5)Want to make your eyes pop and appear bigger apply white eyeliner to your waterline. (6)Want to get every last drop out of your lotion bottle then cut the top off the bottle so you can use up what's left inside. (7)By applying a light lip liner in the centre of your lips makes them appear much fuller. (8)Don't have any primer left use white eyeliner all over your kid this makes shadows pop and help enhance the pigmentation. (9)Use coconut oil as make up remover its natural and ways on your skin and removes stubborn make up instantly. (10)Want to achieve an ombré nail effect apply your nail polish onto a sponge and press the sponge down on your nail it's super quick and easy to do. (11)If your bobby pins/ hair pins aren't staying in place spray them with hairspray and it will keep them in place all day. (12)If you end up buying a foundation darker than your skin tone don't through it out mix it with moisturiser it will tone down the colour. (13)Exfoliate your lips with a tooth brush it allows you to have a smooth base for your lipstick. (14)By highlighting under your brow bone this gives us the illusion of a higher arch and more lifted eyebrow. There you have it 14 little beauty hacks that we all should know I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Until next time bee's Queen bee

Hey bee's happy new year to all of you,the other day I did a blog post about applying eyeshadow it was a little guide for those of you who are just starting out so I thought it would be a good idea to create a post of little tips to make the application of eyeliner a little easier so today I'm taking you all to eyeliner school. (1) There is 3 different types of eyeliners pencil, gel and liquid I will add so pictures down below. Pencil - is easy to apply but doesn't spread too smoothly compared to gel or liquid linnets and sometimes they can be a little harsh on your skin when applying them. Tip * To soften the eyeliner draw a few lines on your hand just to smooth it to make it easier to apply*. Gel - gel liners glide on super easy they normally come in a little pot with a brush for application. gel liner creates a smooth finish but is more difficult to use than pencil as it requires more precision. Liquid- liquid liners can be some what of a challenge but just like all liners practice makes perfect. liquid liners tend to create a more of precise finish you need a steady hand for applying it. (2) Different colours have different effects for example black has a striking and bold effect whereas brown has a more of a subtle and smokey effect. Tip *by using a white liner on your water line this gives the impression on bigger and brighter eyes*. (3)If you have a shaky hand it can be quite difficult to apply eyeliner so here's how I suggest you resolve it > Sit down > place your elbow on a flat surface > Rest your baby finger on your cheek this allows you to stable yourself and prevents your hand from shaking (4) Mess up then remove or hide any mistakes with concealer (5) Don't have a an eyeliner then you can use an alternative eyeshadow, apply the eyeshadow with a eyeliner brush and it's just as effective as using an eyeliner. (6)Put eyeliner onto your eye lash curler this saves you time and helps create a even and straight line. (7) struggling to achieve the prefect flick then grab a piece of tape and apply it to conner of your eye this provides a guide and allows you to create the prefect flick. So there you have it 7 little tips to make the application of eyeliner a little easier I hope you enjoyed today's post and if you have any suggestion or ideas please comment below or pop me an email laurabyrneblog@gmail.com.
