DIY Lush Lip scrub
Hey Bees I thought it would be a great idea to post a little DIY Lush lip scrub which can be used as a little gift for someone for Christmas. This scrub is so simple to make all of the ingredients you will find them in your local shop and guess what this is exactly how lush make there lip scrubs. Ingredients >Vanilla Extract > Food colouring(Light) > Granulated sugar > olive oil > Empty container/jar (1) Mix 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar into a bowl (2) Add a drop of can ill extract and mix (3)Add 1-2 drops of food colouring make sure the food colouring is a light shade for example pink if you select a dark shade it could possibly stain your lips (4)Add the mixture into a container I got little containers in the €2 shop they are super handy prefect for lip scrubs. I'll post a link for eBay you can get them on there also http://goo.gl/JVDAGY There you have it a lip scrub just how lush make there's but you can add flavouring to yours like they do if you want. The sugar exfoliates dry, chapped lips which makes applying lipstick that bit easier as your lips will be smoother. I hope you enjoyed this quick little DIY I hope it comes in handy coming up to Christmas. Until next time bees - Queen Bee

My Christmas Eye Make up look
For Christmas I want to keep my make up very natural with a little hint of sparkle so I have created a very simple look that I would like to share with you guys. I kept it simple and natural by using some warm brown tones and a red glitter shadow on the outer edge of my eye, to draw attention to my eye I applied a black gel eyeliner it give the look a bit of intensity and it really completed the look. What I used .... > essence Quattro eyeshadow in the palette most wanted > kiko Milano extra sculpt mascara > Maybelline colour tattoo 24h gel eyeshadow >sculpt cosmetics "Fairy dreaming"palette > Smashbox photo finish 24h shadow primer How to create this look... (1) I applied Smashbox photo finish primer all over my eye lid which is all gone now actually so I need to pick up some more but I did go online on inglot and I may have order a lot of stuff so I can't wait to show you what I got ! (2) I took the White shadow from the essence Quattro palette this is going to be my base and I applied it to my lid. (3) I mixed the warm bronze tone eyeshadow with the champagne shade from the essence palette and applied it over the White shadow. (4)I took the darkest shade from the essence palette its kind of a dark red/brown I hate how there is no name for any of these shades but anyway I applied this to my crease and really blended it out. (5) Next I took the red glitter shadow from the sculpt cosmetics "fairy dreaming" eyeshadow palette and applied it to the outer edge of my eye and just above my crease and I really blended that out.http://goo.gl/LNkkvY (6) I applied my gel liner Its quite hard to explain exactly how I do it but I think I'll do a little video of me applying it and post it on Instagram. (7) To create a smokey eye I took the red glitter eyeshadow and mixed it with warm bronze tone from the essence palette and applied it underneath my eye and just blended it out to create that smokey effect. (8) I applied a few coats of mascara to Define my lashes and that's it ! That's basically just it its really long lasting it would last all day for me but you might need to top up your eyeliner because you know you might end up smudging it like i do not fun, all the products I used a not super expensive you can find them all in your local drug store. The mascara I'm going to talk about for a second this has become one of my favourite mascara now I recently got it in my glossy box subscription and I applied it straight away when I opened up the box and I couldn't believe how long it made my lashes it literally lifts and curls every single lash and adds volume to your lashes it's like magic I really do recommend that you pick this up. Until Next Time - Queen Bee. Twitter - @_L_A_U_R_A_____ Mistakes we make and shouldn't make when applying foundation.
we all have our own ways of applying foundation but we don't realise that we are making some vital mistakes when applying our foundation our foundation is the base of our make up look it enhances your complexion and gives you a natural looking finish. I've done a bit of research on the mistakes we make and I've created a list and some of them may relate to you and some may not. (1) Using Your fingers Some of us make think that using our fingers is a quick and alternative method but it leaves harsh lines on our skin and you won't have a smooth canvas to build your make up on so I suggest that you invest in buying a beauty blender or a good foundation brush. (2)Applying Foundation Under Eyes And Around Mouth when we apply foundation in these areas we don't know that we are actually highlighting them and any fine lines/wrinkles become visible so the key is to apply only a small amount to these areas. (3)Test the colour Believe it or not it's a common thing for us to just automatically test the foundation out on our hand it's a no no instead apply it to your jaw line for the perfect match. (4) Skipping Primer Primer is a vital part when applying your foundation when you don't apply primer your foundation may become a orange colour through out the day and the reason why is because there is too much oil on your skin and primer balances this out and acts like a barrier. It leaves a smooth and flawless base. (5)Applying Concealer Under Foundation This is a huge no no if you do this your concealer becomes thinned out and troubled spots become visible. (6) Applying Foundation All Over Your Face Okay we all think that it's completely necessary to cover our entire face in foundation but I'm afraid to tell you it's not the less foundation you use the more natural looking your make up appears the main areas that you need to focus on when applying foundation is an redness around nose, darkness around eyes and any blemishes. There you have it 6 mistakes we make when applying foundation I hope you found this post useful. keep and eye out for the Christmas give away I will be posting a blog post all about it tomorrow night.
